Our city, Kelowna, BC, just hosted the Memorial Cup over ten days. The Kitchener Rangers won it for the third time in their history yesterday vs Everett. I won two free tickets 👏 to see our Rockets fall short last week😔

One of the best broadcasters in town for the Memorial Cup was Jeff O' Neill. Like Chris Pronger, he was drafted by the Hartford Whalers. Fifth overall in 1994 - while Pronger went second overall in 1993.
Hockey history buffs know that Hartford moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1997.
