Slamming the goalies!

  • Vancouver won two games yesterday!
The Canucks became the first team to move on in the NHL playoffs as Roberto Luongo stopped 47 shots last night against St. Louis in a 3-2 win. It was the first seven-game series sweep in the Canucks' 38-year history.

The Vancouver Giants beat the Kelowna Rockets by the same 3-2 score yesterday. Tyson Sexsmith was the first star stopping 33 shots for Vancouver, who lead the WHL Western Conference Final two games to one. Off night in Kelowna tonight as Neil Young is rockin' this town!
