Today I received another cheque for voiceover work done during the 2011/12 season for the Buffalo Sabres. But I also received an email from the Buffalo Bills and their Director of
Broadcasting that the "Thurman Thomas Show" will NOT be back for the 2012 season. It is being replaced by a live postgame show. Yes, sports and voiceover are all about change. I worked on the "Thurman Thomas Show" for four seasons. I'll probably have a chance to contribute some sponsor and commercial reads over the upcoming season. Doggone it...
Time to Un-tame your faith was the title of this column from Tim Schroeder in Sunday's eVent paper. I will post a link to it when it becomes available online. It ends with this statement:
So let's destroy the myth and make sure that when the phrase "good Christian" is uttered, the first thought that comes to mind is that of a bold, life-changing adventure with God at the helm.
My latest voiceover script arrived this afternoon for Lake Country Veterinary Specialist Hospital. I see a Boston Terrier and Border Collie are going to be in the video. Doggone it...I am thankful for the work!
